I’ve run small non-profits here in California for about fifteen years now. I’ve incorporated five non-profits and sat on the boards of nine different organizations. Until recently, my education had all been along the lines of for-profits and most of my learning was self taught. I’m currently filling in the gaps by taking a non-profit management course through the local university.
